Inspired by the leather headwear worn by Italian track riders of old as they danced in circles around the velodrome, the Brooks Foldable Bike Helmet is a handsome, practical, and unique cycling helmet ideally suited to both urban and touring adventures. Designed to shrink by 20%, thus allowing a level of portability off the bike not easily afforded by a standard helmet - yet the main advantage of this system is not so much utility but comfort: by allowing expansion and contraction, the Brooks Foldable just fits really, really well. Safety is tidily taken care of by EN 1078 and CPSC certifications, so should the worst happen, you can rest assured that this helmet has your back (or rather, head). Superbly vented and trimmed with allergenic, removable and washable interior padding, this Brooks lid is secured via a simple elastic and velcro fastening at the chin. Supplied with an adjustable belt that gently contracts the helmet when not in use: you’ll also a find a metal clip that can be hooked to the bike or to the trousers loop, yet, when it’s back to bike-time, it will cinch your trouser hem and server as an ankle band.
