Taking all the best parts of the Enduro-World-Series-winning Pike and making it even better, the RockShox Lyrik RCT3 Solo Air 160 Boost 27. 5in Fork is, pretty honestly, the enduro fork by which all others are judged. It blazes down rugged descents with a super-supple stroke courtesy of a new SKF cartridge seal and large negative chamber, and handles lip-flapping chundery sections like it's no big deal with a Rapid Recovery system that responds quickly and stays high in the travel for smoothness and confidence through rapid successions of smaller bumps. The stanchions have been beefed up, the crown made burlier, and the stiffness improved by the addition of a Boost axle that will plow through rock gardens that might otherwise send you bouncing off your line like a jumping bean. Apart from those changes, the Lyrik has a lot in common with the Pike, like a Charger damper, friction-free Fast Black stanchion coating, and easy adjustability. Both low-speed compression and rebound can be dialed up or down as you see fit, and the RCT3 switch lets you toggle between descending, trail, and climbing modes with the flick of a lever, so your lockout is always right where you want it.
