The RockShox Pike RCT3 Solo Air 130 Boost Fork is at the top of pedal-friendly heap, but its fat Boost axle design and Maxle Ultimate axle provide serious stiffness, so you can ride it almost as hard as an enduro fork, but without the weight penalty or diminished responsiveness. While the RCT3 130 doesn't have the depth of its bigger 150mm or 160mm siblings, it is lighter, faster, and built with the same focus on stiffness and buttery smooth movement through all of its travel. It's highly adjustable, too, with a three-position RCT3 Charger lock-out remote and adjustable rebound and low-speed compression settings. It'll eat up steep climbs and tough descents with equal panache.
